Empowered Mentorship: Developing Leaders, Building Legacy

By the end of this module, participants will articulate a personalized mentor identity statement that integrates at least three core mentor roles and two AEHP mentorship principles, and submit it for peer review.

Participants will complete and interpret two validated self-assessments, one measuring emotional intelligence and one assessing values congruence, and create a 90-day development plan with three measurable goals based on results.

Participants will demonstrate application of an emotional intelligence intervention in a simulated mentoring conversation, using active listening, calibrating empathic responses, and delivering values-aligned feedback, as assessed by a rubric with at least 80 percent of criteria met.

Participants will align a minimum of two mentee development objectives with organizational and AEHP legacy goals, document anticipated outcomes and metrics, and present a supervision plan that addresses boundary management, equity, and sustainability.

By module end, analyze and compare at least three evidence-based mentorship models, articulating strengths and limitations in healthcare and leadership contexts, as demonstrated in a 1,000-word comparative brief

Design a relationship-focused mentorship plan that operationalizes trust-building behaviors, boundary agreements, and ethical safeguards, producing a written mentorship agreement and a 12-week interaction roadmap
